Lana D. is stepped out on faith to release her single “God is Good” in May after flying to ATL to record the song. We all know that 2020 was a rough year for pretty-much everyone and if it has taught us anything, it’s that we need God now more than ever. After the unexpected death of her little brother in 2019, who passed away in his 20’s, Lana D. has been working hard to live each day with purpose, since tomorrow isn’t promised. She started a foundation in New York State to provide grants to local youth in her community, with the first grant being awarded in 2019. She believes that God blesses each of us to be a pass-through. She started the foundation to pay it forward and be a clear example of how “God blesses a cheerful giver”… just as he has been doing in her life and knows that those blessings can come in many different forms. She also hopes that people are blessed by the message in her music and that they’d learn to trust in Godenough to give their hearts and lives to him to fulfill their purpose in the earth.
