The Easter season inspires us to remember not just the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross which would have been meaningless had his body remained in the tomb as other mortals, but the angel rolled the stone away to reveal an empty tomb and our provision for peace in this life and eternal life with him in heaven afterwards. He died once for all, that we might live eternally.
